Student Senate Associates

Are you passionate about advocating for student voice on board topics? The Student Senate Association are Students external to the Senate who assist the Senate in its operations and ongoing activities. The HDSB Student Senate is seeking students outside of the Student Senate to join our subcommittees. This year, we will take 4 students PER region (Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville) from grades 7-12 to join one of our 6 subcommittees: 

• Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion

• Mental Health and Wellbeing

• Environmental and Global Citizenship

• Indigenous Perspectives & Awareness

• Learning Engagement and Achievement 

• Kindness, Connection and Community
