Halton Youth Leadership Symposium

WHAT IS THE HYLS?

The Halton Youth Leadership Symposium is an entirely student-run conference. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn skills from successful leaders and engage in meaningful conversations with like-minded youth. The day is packed with workshops, panels, keynote speakers, and networking breaks.

WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA?

The agenda has 3 major components: workshops (run by Student Senate leaders), keynotes, and a student voice section. The purpose of the final session is to serve as a feedback and consultation mechanism for the Student Trustees and Senate: we want to hear the voices of elementary students across the board!

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Every elementary school principal will receive a letter from the Student Trustees, offering their school a limited number of spots at the conference.
