What Is A Student Trustee
A Student Trustee represents students at the board table. Their job consists of three main parts:
Running Student Senate
Attending Board Meetings
Attending the Ontario Student Trustee Association’s (OSTA-AECO) conferences and other provincial organizations.

Late Jan. - Virtual Student Trustee Candidate Information Session
Early Feb. - Virtual Guidance Drop- In
Deadline to submit Candidacy Application Form
Deadline for Election Information
Deadline for Candidate poster, written answer and photo of all candidates
Mid. Feb - Candidate poster, written answer and photo of all candidates released on student senate website
Week Before Elections - Candidate Videos available, and voting instructions
Day Before Elections - Last day to Campaign (until 7:30 am!)
Final Week of Feb. - Student Trustee Election - Online voting 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - In Person Voting during school hours
