Washroom hygiene and vandalism have long been a concern for many students. You are invited to create a piece of multimedia content in any of the following 3 formats that clearly communicates a positive message on respecting the safety and cleanliness of washroom spaces and appropriate for a school audience (e.g. Encouraging students to not practice trashing sinks, group vaping, leaving behind a mess, breaking of washroom equipment). Max of one submission per student per format.
Submissions are open starting March 30th and closes on April 24th. Please email your work to contest@hdsb.ca.

For each age group in each format, the top 3 winners will receive:
Recognition for their work on school announcements
A certificate of achievement from HDSB’s Director of Education
Feature on HDSB communication and social media platforms
For the 1st place winner of each age group in each format, recipients will additionally:
Have their art work displayed in schools across the board
Be invited to attend and recognized at a board meeting
Furthermore, the school with the highest turnout rate (submissions/student population) will receive:
A certificate of achievement from HDSB’s Director of Education
Feature on HDSB communication and social media platforms
